That is, about me and my workshop.
My name is Aga, I spent my childhood sitting at the famous “jumper” chairs in the communist era, and now I’m sitting in a workshop near Warsaw and restoring furniture. I am bringing them back to working condition or to the new version dreamed by the client. The more heavily damaged, the more I enjoy working with them. I have a balanced attitude of “wood only, painting is a sin”. Furniture was already being painted several hundred years ago, so what is that buzz all about
I value the old methods of finishing wood, so I mainly clean by hand, patiently fill in the defects, apply oils, waxes, shellac polish.
What else… I have a special spot in my heart for upholstered furniture. And love converting dressers into sink cabinets.
All the broken and ugly stuff is welcome, it will be fun!
